Drink Responsibly

Here at TapWagen Columbus we do not condone any drinking and driving in the slightest. A night should always begin and end responsibly, especially if a ride/destination is involved. A designated driver is the perfect idea. In todays world of Uber and Lyft, there really is no excuse for putting yourself, or worse, others at risk with driving while intoxicated.  Though our vehicles show awesome beer taps, and TapWagens are great for making a party happen, we hold safety in the highest regard. 

Alcohol Disclaimer

It is illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to consume alcohol at any event. We suggest that all guests have a photo ID present, the state of Georgia law requires all patrons show proof of age at time of service. We have the right to refuse service to anyone at the event who appears excessively drunk or uses threatening or abusive behavior towards staff or guests. We will also refuse service to anyone who attempts to provide alcohol for someone under the age of 21.  The TapWagen Columbus LLC staff reserves the right to close off the taps at any time if they feel behavior of guests are threatening or unruly and may cause harm to others or property.  The decision on such matters will be taken by TapWagen Columbus LLC staff.     

Alcohol Not Included    

Our packages do not include the alcohol. You will need to purchase any alcohol that will be used at your event. We can help provide you with tips on how much to provide and how to make it a smooth process. We have preferred partners we like to work with to ensure the best experience for you and your guest. Keg orders usually need to be placed at least a week in advance at your local liquor store.

Alcohol Permitting

In some locations or events, city permits may need to be applied for to serve alcohol. It is the responsibility of the party host to secure such permitting. We do not carry the proper licensing to buy, sell or transport alcohol.  For public events it will be the responsibility of the client to hold the specific permitting. We will not be able to operate cash at any time while the system is hooked up to alcohol without proper permitting.   

Deposit & Refunds 

A 50% deposit in the amount agreed upon is required at the time of booking. Acceptable forms of payment are: cash, checks, PayPal, Venmo, and any major credit cards through our online payment portal. Credit card processing fees may be applied upon checkout. The deposit secures the event date and time for the client and is refundable no less than 30 days prior to event date. Clients will pay a $50.00 fee for any and all returned checks. Since a lot of planning and material cost goes into getting ready for an event, we are unable to do full refunds before 30 days of any event.          

Balance Due   

Balance is non-refundable 30 days or less prior to the event. Full balance needs to be paid before the start of any event. Payment for any overage in time must be paid before additional hours are provided.      

Electricity   

In some instances we may need electricity. We do prefer to hook up to the locations electricity directly. A generator can be provided for an extra charge of $100 if needed, but the generator noise may effect the ambiance of the event.  We can provide up to 100 feet of extension cords. There is a $15 fee for each additional 50ft needed. 

Inclement Weather   

TapWagen Columbus LLC reserves the right, in good faith, to cease the operation should the weather pose a potential danger to our personnel, the equipment, or guests. Since safety is paramount in all decisions, TapWagen Columbus LLC's compensation will not be affected if the operation is ended prematurely. In the event of prior knowledge of inclement weather, where TapWagen Columbus LLC does not set up at an event, a partial refund will be given. Since a lot of planning and material cost goes into getting ready for an event, we are unable to do full refunds before 30 days of any event.     

Damage or Loss of Equipment   

TapWagen Columbus LLCs employees are the only ones allowed to set up, move or break down the equipment used for any event. The client acknowledges that it shall be responsible for any damage or loss to the equipment owned by TapWagen Columbus LLC caused by: 

A) Any misuse of the equipment by the client or any guests.

B) Any theft or disaster.

C) Any intentional or unintentional damage to vehicles or rental equipment.

Damage to Property

TapWagen Columbus LLC is not responsible for tire marks, disruption of gravel/ ground/shrubbery or other plants caused by locating our vehicles where the event planner request it.
